Malik Rosier = Jalen Hurts

Don’t let the record fool you, they are just not that good and they make winning way too difficult. Let me preface this first by saying I have seen both play in person twice each in the last year, wife is a Bama grad, and they both have too many negative similarities. Both lock down receivers too much, inadequate in stature, mediocre in arm and mobility, and rely way too much on their athleticism to win games. They are in no way incapable of winning games, but whenn the going gets tough, they both get going. Unlike Hurts however, we won’t hear about Malik anymore after four months from now. I suggest that coach Richt follow Saban’s suit and get more burn for these other QBs to prepare for the future and he shouldn’t worry about Malik getting upset because he has no options. Hate to be so tough on Malik, but the college game is getting more and more like a business (NFL) and no one player is bigger than a university.

Jalen Hurts is straight garbage, but he is worlds better then Rosier. His arm sucks for a D1 QB, but even if he couldn't run he could play QB on a D2 team and start. Rosiers arm is something that would be found on a backup for some ****** public school in Connecticut that runs the triple option. Hurts is also a better runner then Rosier.

Hurts has five stars all around him on both sides of the ball so it makes him look a lot better, but when you put Tua that team is a whole other beast. Malik is surrounded by 3/4 stars and his flaws glare a whole lot more.

Just look at the two players. Hurts actually is able to hit wide open guys on a relatively consisten basis. Rosier cannot.

Hurts is a better passer than Rosier. Not debatable.

Hurts would be a gigantic upgrade over Rosier and it's not particularly close. There's not a chance in **** we lose to Pitt last year with Jalen Hurts here. Zero.

Last year (when Hurts got benched in the NC game), he was over 60% for the season with 17 TD passes and 1 INT. GTFOOH with the Rosier comparison.
