The first time I saw Andre Johnson with my own eyes, was his last year at UM. I thought a **** DE had grabbed the wrong jersey by mistake, and squeezed himself into it. I said to myself, “I know **** well that ain’t Andre.”!
I remember standing next to him during 2000 and 2001....and thought to myself, how tf is any DB gonna cover that??...

I remember seeing him on campus much later (maybe around 2010ish) I was a student and here is Andre walking around finishing his degree.

Two initial thoughts I had: 1. imagine being in some BS class and having a group project where Andre was in your group? Like when you met for a meeting it would either be in the dorms or at Andre's house, and either would be insane to me as a college student and 2. I first spotted him across campus and it looked like he had a little kids backpack on, like toddler size. But when I got close to him I realized it was a normal backpack and he was just a giant.

Just an Absolute Freak...that TD vs FSU in 2001 made me do a Double take.....

This may be weird but I’m honestly not sure what I want more….a 10 win Miami regular season or a 7 win A&M regular season.

Okay obviously I want the 10 win season more but the other ain’t far behind.
I cant worry about a team thats not in our conference or even state. Id rather have UF struggle before ATM.

Not worried about what A and M does outside of the game we play them. 7 wins isn’t gonna change the fact that they will continue to buy recruits and eventually with the 400 5 star kids they signed will compete. It is what it is.

Bryant visited Bama over the weekend...

From their 247 board:

Malik Bryant was scheduled to visit Alabama two separate times earlier this year, both of which ended up not happening. Third time’s the charm, though, and the Crimson Tide didn’t disappoint the Orlando (Fla.) Jones standout.

“I really enjoyed that visit,” Bryant told BamaOnLine. “That was a unique visit. I can say they definitely separated themselves from all.”

Separated as in Bryant’s new leader?

“Possibly, I’m not sure yet,” Bryant replied.

The nation’s No. 2 linebacker and No. 35 overall player enjoyed and extended sit-down with Nick Saban on Friday.

“He was really just telling me I’ve got a great chance to come in there and be a potential first round draft pick with my skillset,” Bryant said. “He said if I continue to work and do the things that need to be done day in and day out, I have a great chance to be somebody one day. He was saying if I come through their system and do what needs to be done, I can definitely be somewhere one day.”

What was Bryant’s biggest takeaway from the weekend, his first impression of Alabama in person?

“How they take care of their players,” he said. “The amount of money they put in just to make sure their players stay healthy and make sure their players are getting the right treatment, things like that. That’s what really stuck out to me. That and just how much the players are really enjoying (being there).”

Bryant said he plans to take another unofficial to Bama in June and will workout there then. He is going to take 3 OVs in June and save two for the season; one of those will likely be to Alabama during the season

They made a move, not too surprising, game on for Mario, Steele, and Strong.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but.... Doesn't that mean he's currently not a take for Bama if he has to "workout" on a visit for them?

Pretty much. Its not a hard sell these days for Bama.

Mario cant sell what they can right now but he **** sure can sell immediate playing time (Malik literally could come in and be our starting MLB in 2023) , an NIL deal (gotta have these conversations nowadays with any top 50 recruit) and the chance to bring us back immediately to national prominensce.

Facts. I kinda view him a bit more as a SAM LB pass rushing specialist but I definitely wouldn't question him being placed at Mike either. Kids a good one & we need him bad.

It's such a **** and successful recruiting technique that Billy Gaypier took it to Hogtown...

Everyone has to go through workouts for them on campus if they want to be seriously recruited by Bama. They want verified numbers based on what they can measure.
I get it... But I highly doubt every recruit they're high on has to do a workout... Idk. I could be 100% wrong.

Let's be clear, it's not like the kids are running the entirety of a Pro Day. It's taking measurements on height, weight, wingspan, etc.... For QBs, it might be a few throws to gauge arm strength, WRs might run a few routes and such.
