Mali Magic

We all ended up agreeing on best freshman at the U of all time right?
I've been watching for 43 years and can think of none better.

Some others had outsized impacts as true frehsmen like Kaaya and Cici but no one was as constitnely dominant right off the bat in my memory.

The playoff run sealed it for me. He was right their anyway. I am so pumped to see him and Barkate together with a Jacobs or Vaughn over the top. I am not sure a lot of people understand how good Barkate is. Mario offered Barkate out of HS. He had offers from Oregon, ND, UCLA, ASU and many more. He wanted that Harvard education and got that degree. Just so impressive. His father played at UCLA, his grandfather at LSU and his sister played lacrosse at Harvard. Him and Mali with Mensah. Seriously! Not forgetting Fletch, but I have my eye on Jordan Lyle this off season.

That battle for playing time at WR besides Toney and Barkate should be ridiculous. Then you got Moore and Upshaw who both looked good last year as FR. Add to that a loaded incoming group. Wingo and Paris in particular are big-time talents.

He is because he literally did everything and he was a reclass on top of it. He set records as a receiver, ran the ball, threw the ball, returned the ball and blocked better than our tight ends. The only thing he didn’t do was kick. And did it over 16 games against grade A competition. He is the greatest TF in our history with a bullet
