Maleek young not visiting Clemson no more

I wouldn't say cane lock just yet. Trob pulls off some crazy stuff this time of the year.

Just like when Tim Irvin was all Texas then flipped to Auburn a few days later because of Trob. That prick is going to be a pain in the *** for a long time in Sfla. I'd rather him be at USCe than UF or something though.

Yeah much easier to sell Auburn and Florida than it is to sell South Carolina.
With TRob in SC wouldn't surprise me if he becomes a Game****...

I'm thinking the same. Usually I'd wait to see if they visit and what they think of wanting to live there for 4 years but Young was already committed to UGA, so living in rural areas probably doesn't bother him. Gun to the head today without any inside info, I'd say Young to USCe just off memory and experience of what Trob does

Neither USCe nor UGA are in rural areas, but....

more "college towns" than rural. Certainly moreso than Miami.

Athens is a college town for sure, has about 200,000. Columbia isn't. Columbia has 800,000 in the metro area. It's the state cap. and has a lot more than the school. Obviously different than Miami though.

people need to realize they aren't recruiting against golden and his boys anymore. they have to actually recruit against real coaches. i know rumph and banda have little experiance as db coaches on college level but the head coach , dc and dl coach alone should have kids salavating to come to miami on d.

this isn't the house of golden anymore, just because t rob could steal a kid from al doesn't mean he can from richt. richt usually gets who he is after, he has done this time and time again for years. i expect coach richt to have alot more cache with recruits then golden did.

I've been to Athens several times and all they have is a nice bar scene, literally nothing else but the community, so that's the basic definition of a college town I guess. Never been in Columbia but I've been about 45 min away and there's literally nothing around it. When I played college baseball we went to places all around Columbia and I just imagined it to be similar.

But I was more referencing to the fact that he committed to UGA once so he could handle the lifestyle, both similar in Athens and Columbia I'm sure. A lot of kids from Miami can't handle the culture shock.

If he committed to UGA because of Richt, which it seems since he decommitted soon after, I think we get him. If it's any other reason, I'd watch out for USCe.

TRob definitely works his magic but I think we're at the point now where we should be aware and ready for what TRob is going to do instead of being scared ****less of him.

Not about being scared. Its about knowing that we will have to fight for this kid because for some reason kids gravitate toward this **** and im not buying the "Bagman" BS either. Posters on here are already marking down MYoung like hes a lock and thats far from the truth.

I just cant understand why this kid would go to a proven loser like Muschamp over a winner like Richt...........and now I understand how people felt when kids committed to Golden over better programs, ****. Either way, Muschamp failed and burned out at UF with 4-8 season, losing to a Div 2 school, the guy clearly has a horrid record as a HC. I think he comes on down to The U and doesnt #GetCocky , possibly one of the dumbest trends among those mouth breathers in SC

Wow. That's lame as ****.

LOL at the TKnob fanboys on here.

Well..lets deal in facts and not post bashing..here is what this **** has accomplished when we went head to head against him...

Vernon Hargreaves
Treon Harris
JC Jackson
Jaynard Bostwick
Khari Clark
Tim Irvin
Carlton Davis
Brandon Powell
CJ Worton

And thats just head to head..Its not about being scared or riding his dyck..its about knowing that Malek Young isnt a lock and it will be a fight. Because whatever talk game this guy sells, recruits buy it. Now its our turn to see if Richt has the same "talk game"...

TRob has one thing working against him. Its that Muffcramps is his HC. I think pretty much everyone knows that SC is going to turn into a massive dumpster fire.

Bruh....lol....that wasn't hard to do. Your Talking bout Golden, here. Your talking about D'ONFRIO here! Come on....

Yeah that's "head up", but that's like Jordan going head up against Dawn Staley both in their primes. I'm more than positive he won't be that much of a Thorn in our side now that we have a true competent staff with real, tangible, on the field results.

South Carolina is boring. I can see if Trob was at auburn because that's a very fun college town... But it's no comparison tbh. I think he is going to Miami

TRob is real good at what does, kids love him, there's a reason Muschamp didn't let him go anywhere.

Not scared of TRob. We have a young, vibrant staff now. We had Paul ******* Williams trying to sell these kids on coming and playing for him. It shows you how long the Miami brand goes that kids were even considering it.

I think you guys are underestimating the power of the booty here. The white girls at USC have fatter asses than the sisters. Real talk

I understand, I was just commenting on the rural. Clemson is rural. Columbia is not. I mean, no it's not Miami, but it's not Clemson either.

Do his results as a recruiter not speak for themselves?

No coach on our staff has much of a relationship right now with any of the recruits, Trob does. That might play a factor this year. Within the next few years if he remains at South Carolina, Mark Richt and his staff will have relationships and everything with the recruits, and Trob could turn into a non-factor... but right now he is definitely a problem.

Totally disagree that TRob a bigger factor! Kid already committed to Richt once, never to TRob! Kid just eliminated Clemson and you think he'll turn around and commit to the weaker of South Carolina schools, especially after watching Muschump's and TRob's D fail at Auburn? I think if you're making a prediction then the Canes have the higher probability based on his decommitment coinciding with Richts departure and the fact that Miami was not in consideration before Richt! Since we guessing, evidence overwhelming to Miami.

Completely logical point, but 18 year old kids are seldom logical.

You can't say that. Maleek Young was committed to Richt while he was the head coach at UGA. He still has that relationship going. This isn't like a coach going from a MAC school who was recruiting 2-star kids coming to Miami recruiting 4 and 5 star kids now. Richt's staff has been recruiting kids while at other schools and still have established relationships.

Maleek doesn't have a relationship with the HEAD coach of the school he de-commited from (Mark Richt)? OK
