Offered last Friday and Tucker retweeted the offer so looks like a serious recruitment
Charles was a 4*, Stancil 4*, Lafayette 4*, Sainteus 4*. Yea Bacon was 3* but every SEC team was on him. Not sure what you're on about.does this mean we losing traction with the top tier guys
seems like we doing what we did last year when we were hyped about landing an all time D line class then missed on every 5 star we were in on
and settled for 3 star guys who "fit what heatherman is looking for"

Who was hyped about ever landing an all time D line class last year? That was 2024 dude loldoes this mean we losing traction with the top tier guys

i dont have time to go back but look at the spring hype about the dline classWho was hyped about ever landing an all time D line class last year? That was 2024 dude lol
The talk last year was that we were a worst a top 5 NIL spender for the cycle. We were targeting the right guys and they were along the DL and reality is we missed on a bunch of them. Stancil was one of those guys that we flipped though.Who was hyped about ever landing an all time D line class last year? That was 2024 dude lol
If we’re going by the composite there are literally only 2 five star DTs. Same thing last year. Then there were 3 in ‘25. Getting one of those every year is unrealistic and not necessary. 2024 was an outlier with 8 composite five star DTs and we landed two of them.i dont have time to go back but look at the spring hype about the dline class
even that one dude that ultimately went to oregon came to that tavern and broke bread with dmoney as well
maybe im too demanding but for Dline in particular we need to recruit at a higher level than we currently are, we should be stacking a 5 start Dtackle every year
i just think we could do betterIf we’re going by the composite there are literally only 2 five star DTs. Same thing last year. Then there were 3 in ‘25. Getting one of those every year is unrealistic and not necessary. 2024 was an outlier with 8 composite five star DTs and we landed two of them.
I know the prospects you’re referring to and i went back to look. The hype was never there to land the best Dline class in the country like we set out to do ‘24. We did miss on some elite guys yet Charles, Lafayette and Stancil were blue chip gets. Also got Carter and Davis in the portal.
We are currently in the top 3 or better for 5 of the top 25 DTs in the country ((#23 Ayangible, #19 Parks, #18 Thompson, #9 Muhammad (his tape has him at edge virtually all the time; i don’t seem gaining the weight for DT), & #3 Folorunsho)). We are sagging off a really good DT prospect in our backyard who is likely going to UF. We are doing very well.
Maleek Lee is ranked 40th and has OVs to UF, OSU, and USC besides Miami; recruiting him isn’t a bad sign of anything.
We always target the top guys. That’s not anything new.The talk last year was that we were a worst a top 5 NIL spender for the cycle. We were targeting the right guys and they were along the DL and reality is we missed on a bunch of them. Stancil was one of those guys that we flipped though.
