Malcolm Bunche To Transfer

People were always enamored with his size, but his on field results have been mediocre at best.

The doom and gloomers will see this as some kind of referendum on Golden, no doubt.

Luckily you and the other hilariously ignorant Golden supporters are here to blindly support the man til the bitter end in the face of overwhelming evidence.

This group the last 5 months.

What a stupid post.

I guess I get it. If every piece of news isn't spun into something negative, then I must be a Golden slurper and blindly loyal.

No nuance allowed in these parts. Everything is black and white. Golden is the WOAT, and if you don't agree, you are a stupid Golden loyalist. Brilliant.

You guys are acting like we lost a stud... He has been serviceable at best for 3 years. He passes the "eye test" , but other then that he is a mediocre player. Not agile enought to play tackle and just doesn't have it to be a mauler type guard.

Obviously he saw the writing in the wall during the season. He played, but was used as a sub and flip flopped between G and T. For the staff to not even put up a fight to keep him tell you all you need to know. Guys like Isadora, Gall, Gadbois, Wells, and Odogwu must be developing well. Not to mention we have Gibbons and KC who are stud Tackles coming in.

No this is great news.

We don't need depth. Especially at OL. And especially not from an upperclassmen.

Hunter Knighton and Taylor Gadbois -- FullSpeedAhead, guys!

He wasn't going to start here next year and I'm sure Al told him that. Good move for the kid to seek excellence elsewhere.

Don't blame him. Get out of the dumpster fire while you can.

Meh, I'm on the **** Golden train too, but Bunche started every game in 2012 and lost his spot to Flowers in 13. He couldn't beat out Mongo or Linder and he couldn't even take the RT spot from underachieving Seantrel. ****, Jared Wheeler has more starts than Bunche. I don't think too much of this staff either and I don't like what's going on in Coral Gables, but I just don't think this kid isn't that good. I think as a 5th year senior he can transfer to a mid-level school and play right away (if he's graduated) and we can bring up Isidora, Gadbois, Sonny and freshman

Bunche will be drafted. He's a decent player. You never want a 5th year senior with talent to transfer.

I take this not that we have so many studs already on the roster but that they fully expect KC and Darling to take two of the "two deep" spots available on the Oline next year. Bunche was prob the odd man out.

Plus maybe Bunche wanted to leave. His incoming class is all but gone and maybe he wants to move closer to home. Delaware St or something. UCONN was a good one too. Wish him luck in the future. Was a good kid just a numbers thing at this point.

The same staff who didn't think Storm Johnson leaving was a big deal?

Apples and oranges my friend. Two totally different cases. Storm couldn't put down the pot and *****ed about playing time since the day AG got here.

I'm not denying that, but when asked if Storm leaving was a big deal, Al said, "Not really. I don't think so."

2 years later, he's going off in the Fiesta Bowl and we're getting our *** reamed by a Louisville team that LOST to Storm's team earlier in the year.

Storm Johnson wanted to start, he wasn't going to. What was the staff supposed to do? Lie to him, lock him in the equipment room?

And then go to the media and tell them how big of a deal it really is, how Miami is in trouble without him?

GTFOH.

The real problem is the Bunche is good kid, a hard worker and team player. It seems to be the exact type of player Al loves. Yet he is running. If he is not good enough to play, then Al needs to look hard at adjusting his idea of what a good player is. Bunche and Wheeler were close, maybe Wheeler leaving made this an easier choice for him. Hate to see the kid go.

I wouldnt be shocked if rashawn scott ended up leaving too.

Many of you are morons. Do you know why Scott was suspened the last 3 or so games in 2012 and why he was suspended for last few games of 2013?

You want to know te answer? PM me.

With Storm Johnson we win at least one more game this year and the UNC and WF games aren't close.
