is awfully good, how does he compare to Jeremiah? and to think we could have had both as Hurricanes if things had gone the way we wanted.
Having watched Ohio ST I don't think they have as many solid receivers as we do so TONEY gets less passes then SMITH. Couldn't find that stat

Are you serious? They've got a bunch of former 5 stars. If the recruiting experts say they were good, they have to be, right?

Jeremiah Smith is a freak of nature. It’s unfortunate. Ohio State does not have an experience quarterback, or they might be able to open the offense and he would pick up where he left off. The other receiver is taking quite a bit of his reception as well.

Baby Jesus may be our best offense and weapon, but he’s not the same class as Jeremiah Smith.

As @poncho0091 wrote, a better comparison is Ryan Williams at Alabama.

Malachi has done this as a 17 year old (just turned 18). I can't find stats on Jeremiah in his freshman year. When all is said and done I wonder how high in the draft they will be. Definitely 1st round for both.

Baby Jesus will have more yards than Jeremiah Smith by the end of the season. Slot WR eat in Dawson's offense.

He caught a few passes

Not really a good comp physically but his impact on the team reminds me a bit of the impact Sammy Watkins had on Clemson years back. The same feeling of not believing how good they were stepping on to a college field for the first time.

This kid is special and the scary part is he can play better as the year goes by if he stays healthy.
