The OL is the visual key. When Miami runs the tunnel screen the OL releases to get downfield, and when they do the ball has to be completed behind the LOS -- so defense can trigger hard without having to worry about getting beat deep.

But if you want to slip the WR for the 9 route, the OL has to stay home or it is a penalty. No OL release, an experienced DB is going to sit until the play starts to develop further.

Will have to see how they are playing it in-game but I don't think they bite unless Miami is slicing them up with the tunnel screen and they have to sell out to stop it. But who knows, im just a dude on a computer.

Have them fire horizontally. The only one who would dramatically change their anttack is 61. Need about 3 seconds depending on how quick they crash. Only the linebackers are reading through the lineman to backfield. RB picks up 2 tech. Only need the play side safety and corner to bite. Play side linebacker will be delayed / baited due to the false pull of the play side guard

I’d want to catch them in man or quarters with the safety crashing downhill as the fill.

If it works, we have a wide open touchdown to 0.

If it doesn’t it forces the safeties / corners to think twice about running downhill when they read screen.
