Kudos to the OP for owning his inexplicable hard-on for Coop. Still don't know where it came from or why people are surprised he balled out in the Spring game. Just gotta watch last year's film. He's roasting the same corners he'll be going against here. It's not like we plucked him from DII Podunk State and will have to see if he can play at this level. He's proved he can and he has the same QB. Him and Mali will be one of if not the best duo in CFB.

I learned this awhile ago, size and speed sometimes don’t mean a **** thing. Pause
Combines prove that every year. It’s important if you extra slow but how many times we see speedsters can’t do ****. Too many times

It’s the subtle speed that’s a better trait that quick twitch and change of direction. And if you can run away from people while having that, you probably a NFL player

Guys be running 4.2’s but can’t create space cause you can’t run in a straight line against elite comp if you want to get open.

But it’s more like there’s a minimum speed threshold for every position and you just have to be over that threshold to be effective. The list of fastest forty times at the combine is a bunch of dudes who never did anything in the league and Chris Johnson.

I dont care that Barkate went for over 1k at Duke last year. I worry that he will be the security blanket for Mensah. I think Vaughn, Moore and Jacobs are all better and more dynamic. Ideally, my WR starters are Mali, Vaughn, Moore as starters and Jacobs in 4 wide sets. I will never hope for an injury to any player, especially a Cane, but I think it would be better for the team if Barkate gets real comfy on the bench.

So about this. Upon seeing the spring game, I was completely wrong. I was super wrong. Barkate should for sure start. I was mistaken. I just hope Moore can be healthy for Stanford. Mea culpa. Mea culpa. Mea maxima culpa.
