Yes, I would gladly take on for the team if your right.
Fair enough, amigo. let's get it!
Yes, I would gladly take on for the team if your right.
I'm all in on Applewhite. There's more upside than downside.
Downside:
1.) Experience.
2.) Record as an HC
3.) Ugly as sin.
Upside:
1.) Young innovator with a scheme that complete suits our players.
2.) Success as an OC
3.) Long-term option vs Fedora as a short-term rental. I like the Fedora idea and wont be unhappy with bringing him in either.
4.) Access to a very fertile recruiting ground in Texas, especially their QBs and OLs.
5.) Hungry with alot to prove.
6.) Very cerebral, and very structured.
7.) Strong recruiting acumen and prowess. The recruiting connections he brings are exactly what we need.
8.) Ugly as sin
Is he innovative?
I don’t know one way or the other.
And is he a good recruiter? Did the Ed Oliver incident hurt his reputation?
Don’t understand what you mean by this? Did you not see how houston was on offense in 2015?Put me in the camp that always felt that Applewhite is a typical industry coaRch. He'll say and do all the right things. He'd rather fail traditionally than succeed untraditionally, the true mark of an industry coaRch. That is NOT what we want as a coordinator at UM.
