Madison Newspaper......

I mean whatever gets you guys pumped for the game. I actually despise ND, Ohio St, UF, FSU. Wisconsin actually has pretty nice people. I'd bet after the game a lot of you all will say that they're pretty cool

"...UW fans are forced to make a long, expensive trip in order to fill the stands."

Complaining about a trip to Miami in December. Article invalid.

Especially since 58% of Wisconsin lives in Florida during the winter regardless
Tell me about it. Over here in Naples we're inundated with these creatures. Very obnoxious. Effing cheeseheads dumber than dirt.

Wisconsin dudes and dames are on the same dense, trite,:kramer: simpleton ego level as those Herbie CornSUCKER minions!

Or the transplanted WV and Kentucky trash that. That supports OSU.

bought my tickets for this one but i don't know what is going to be different for this game. we aren't any less depleted on offense.

Depletion was never the issue. If the players we have available do their jobs we win.

Richt needs to be creative from start to finish, and punish these muther****ers, no nice guy ****. we need to send a message for next year!!!

I hate reading that Richt needs to be more creative. If Rosier can hit an open guy, we will be fine. I see where you're coming from but if you QB can hit the WR streaking past their CB's then you really don't need to be creative, just get them the f****** ball

Richt needs to be creative if he wants to get playmakers the ball because his QB can't throw to open receivers.

No amount of creativity in playcalling will make Rosier throw a better ball. The playcalling has resulted in receivers running wide open on many occasions. He’s even missed on short granny throws.

Personally, if it were me, and I’m not like one of the many self-appointed professional offensive coordinators that reside on this board, I’d pretty much run a game plan where we’re throwing 80% r more of the time. Spread ‘em out, quick throw, hurry up, for slants, short throws, etc, a lot of safe throws, it’s some deeper routes mixed in. Hoping that eventually Rosier finds a rhythm, finds his groove, and do it all game.

I mean, what have we got to lose? If Rosier plays like at Pitt or Clemson, we’re going to lose anyway. Come out determined to sling it no matter what. Go for it. Nothing to lose.

Sounds crazy. Probably is. Goes against conventional wisdom. Go for it.

They were right about their analysis other than who is going to win, but that is just bias either way

- Wisconsin defense > Miami offense
- Miami defense > Wisconsin offense
- Wisconsin ST > Miami ST (no kicker has missed a FG against Miami and if there is one thing you can count on is Feagles shanking at least one punt)
- Coaching I would agree with even just because if you look at the recruits Wisconsin gets they have no business being ranked #6 although in reality they are there because of their division and schedule, but to not appear bias I'll go with even.
- Intangibles obviously Miami we are playing in Miami

Both teams if you think about it are pretty similar. Have great defense, sub-par offense. Our biggest issue is Rosier, if we can figure out a way to get him going we will win pretty easily. He is extremely streaky and once he gets going with simple plays (qb draws, screens, quick throws) forget about it (look at ND game). If he starts bad forget about it we are not scoring much points. The good news is I believe either way it will be a close game if our offense poops the bed, as Wisconsin offense won't be able to take over. Think more Pitt or NC vs Miami rather than Clemson vs Miami if our offense is as bad as it has been lately.

Completely agree with this. When we've been successful, this has been how it's done. We won't run successfully in the bowl without softening their D up first.

Like it or not, we'll live or die with Rosier like we have all season.

Sounds a little whiney to me. If they had made playoffs wouldn't they be traveling? They think this bowl game is beneath them; still smarting from the conf loss sounds like.

LETS GO CANES! :stormwarningflag-sm:machinegun:

This is what I was trying to say, but you said it for me haha, similar to a mike leach air raid offense

Thats true it does start with Rosier but that's why they call it coaching, if it was easy everybody would be doing it.

The team that has the less ****ty QB-play, wins.

Lol the turnover chain is so in the heads of Miami's opponents it's the first thing mentioned in a wiscownsin article. I ******* love the turnover chain.

That’s horse ****. Wisconsin is always in a Florida bowl for that very reason. They vacation during Christmas time like any other Mid western town. I guess not being in the Outback/Citrus Bowl really makes a difference logistically. FOH.

Rosier is trash. We will be lucky to move the ball and our field position game is much worse than theirs.

It's gonna take our D to put the whole team on it's back.

I see Wisconsin focused on their bowl game and UM focused on recruiting.

We'll see.

Exactly. I think we're going to be in trouble. Wisconsin started practicing Dec 8, miami started Dec 17, after our big visit weekend.

You’re only allowed x amount of practices.Wisconsin is going to miss a few days due to travel where Miami will be practicing. We will have a full two weeks to get back into game shape and I got to believe the team has been doing lifting and cardio stuff throughout the layoff.
