What did you have a problem with, the pull handles? I don't have that model. I love the one I have with recessed handles to open the doors, I've had it for 4 years now, not a single problem.
Was my exs fridge. Dont recall the model but the ice machine quit working 3 different times, the filters would leak and the freezer quit working. She got a new one after that. Stupid ***** deserved it though lmao

THOSE ARE THE EXACT SAME ISSUES MINE HAD!!!

Planned obsolescence will get you, every **** time.

Wait one more year! I had the recessed handles and it died after five years. Did some research, and apparently five is the magic number.

Of course, I do not wish this on you.

Yeah, I want a larger one too. I do have the room for it, and my house was only built in 2007, but I would have to take out all the cabinets and it just doesn't make sense to do all that right now. That's the real reason why I'm okay with my husband saying no to me getting a new one right now....because this one does still work fine...but when it doesn't, then it will be time for the kitchen remodel I've always dreamed of...

BTW, how does the air fryer work on your new oven? I have the Breville Smart Air Oven and I love it, but the Air Fry function sucks because there's too much space for the air to circulate. I ended up also buying a regular countertop air fryer too. It's annoying.

I will let you know about the air fryer soon, the stove arrives tomorrow.

A year and a half ago, I got that bad-*** Panasonic microwave/air-fryer/every-other-cook-style known to man, and I have been disappointed in the air-frying. Takes FOREVER, and it's a small cooking space, so I don't know what "goes wrong".

I'm just gonna keep buying **** until it works. It's the Man Method of coping...

For some reason I remember a post on the old site where someone made a Hurricanes wallet.
Anyone else remember that thread? Pretty sure it was hundreds of pages, lol.

One of the greatest RCT threads EVER.

Don't forget, the wallet was made out of DUCT TAPE!

Wow, so many anti gas stove-ites here. I’m feeling a little uneasy. Not sure I can be friends with electric stove-mos. Sh*t is getting real here

I would simply point out, it depends on where you live.

When I lived in Florida, I NEVER had gas stoves, only electric. Everywhere. Orlando, Miami, SW FL.

Where I currently live in Atlanta, it's electric or else I start a campfire in the backyard.

My dishwasher sucks. What does OP have for a dishwasher?

Ha! I just went with a KitchenAid there, it is super-quiet. Sometimes I'm standing next to it and I don't even realize it's washing. I had to get one of those Clean/Dirty magnets so that my wife and I don't put dirty dishes in with the clean.

At least nobody can tell me that my dishwasher is going to blow up in Year 5!

Bosch or Fridgadaire recommended by my highly regarded appliance repair people.

I was considering Bosch, but I there were issues with the placement of the drain on the model I was looking at.

If I end were starting from scratch, I would have gone with the Bosch, it's what my brother has. The interior design of my Kitchenaid was very similar to the Bosch I was looking at, with 3 levels.

Whirlpool was a close 3rd but they said parts are easier (faster) to come by for the other 2. Our old Kenmore lasted 26 years! With a couple of minor repairs.

We went with the Bosch although we liked the Fridgadaire but wasn’t available at Lowe’s. Only thing we didn’t like about the Bosch was the silverware tray. We swiped the one out of MIL’s house before she sold it. LOL. Interesting that your brother’s has 3 levels. Ours only has 2.

We have that too. Everything in our kitchen is KitchenAid and it is solid. Not into the mix and match.
