Its UNC ball, 4rth down, ball on their 45 or maybe 50 yard line, 11 seconds left, and he has his QB TAKE A KNEE.

South Carolina gets the ball on the UNC 45 or so, with time to run 2 plays and get a ball into the EZ. Think UNC sacked the QB,,,one of the the most bone headed decisions ever. Hes never been one to " out coach" you but man I hope he has similar brain farts on Saturday.

USCe was set to hire Kirby Smart, which is why Georgia moved so quickly to dump Richt.

Tom Herman and about 10,000 other people all turned down USCe. Kirby Smart may have faked interest in the USCe job just to get UGA to fire Richt. Nobody wanted to take over that huge dumpster fire Steve Spurrier left behind.

I'm not buying that Mack knew what was going on at all. They should've never been kneeling the ball on 2nd and 3rd down to begin with. They should've run the ball to take extra time off the clock and maybe get a 1st down. The coaching staff must've thought from the start they could run out the clock AND thought they had an extra down. It was the complete definition of CORCHING. It was easily one of the worst game management situations in the history of football. They kneeled on 4th down inside their own territory with time on the clock.
I'm happy they won for another ACC victory vs SEC plus it increases UM's SOS. However, Mack Brown would be on the hot seat already had they lost. The fans would be calling him too old and senile to be a HC.

I think UNC must have somehow lost track of the downs, and thought it was 3rd down when it was really 4th down.

I think there was a bit of miscommunication on that play because he was fuming after that play and was yelling at someone. I think the QB may have kneeled it without his permission.
That’s false listen to the post game interview on the field. He took blame for it. Dude is too old he legit told him to kneel. Even after everything USC should’ve won that game, Bentley is that bad, makes Franks look like a heisman contender.

I stand corrected. I did not watch the post game interview, I just saw him freaking out after the knee. It looked to me like a freshman mistake. Perhaps he is trying to take the blame away from the QB or maybe he really did just fvck up.
