LOL at the new line of bullshyt from the Cult. Now, it's "Bellotti was killing it!". The main reason Bellotti didn't get run out of Oregon sooner was because he was smart enough to hire Chip as his OC.
Little history lesson to the Google football fans out there: Prior to hiring Chip, Bellotti was in a bad rut at Oregon, and he was on the hot seat.
Moral to the story: You can't get the whole story from a Google search for Oregon's football record. Google football fans are clueless as usual. Leave it to the guys who know the game and actually follow it closely.
I think people also lose sight of the fact that it's more challenging to take a team from "decent/good" to "elite" than it is to take a team from bad to decent/good. Chip did the former at Oregon. One can argue, actually, that Butch took an average/decent UNC team under C unting to a "decent/good" team - not terribly impressive.
