After today's lunch I believe in Blake James, and I was very impressed by Korn Ferry. Some observations from the lunch.

1. We are going to try and hire a coach the caliber of Saban and Meyer
2. Butch has the support of the majority of the individuals attending the lunch and big money BOT members.
3. Mario I believe has zero chance.
4. Up and coming coaches and assistants from other schools and the NFL have no chance.
5. New coach does not have to keep anyone from the current staff.
6. There has been tons of interest from big time coaches including some not on the radar.
7. The BOT members such as Stuart Miller who is a great guy is committed to making this program into an elite program and think with the right coach can happen in two to three years.
8. Lots of rumors out there and what has been written etc is complete BS.
9. I am really excited and believe that if we don't hire the likes of a Chip Kelly etc Butch will get the job.
10. I want Butch and lots of people there who contribute a ton of money to the program made it clear that they want Butch.

Obviously not. What they were was lead by a QB making his first road start on the other side of the country. Before you accuse me of making excuses like al, how many QBs win their first start on the road against a team of that caliber? Hows about you get your head out of your a$$ and admit that even the best teams and coaches sometimes lose to lesser opponents.
