Just wanted to answer the question I have seen pop up a few times here on TMB. How come Rivals.com is not at The Opening and Elite 11 Finals?
To be clear - this is not a complaint; rather, this is an explanation for anyone who asks:
Rivals.com applied for credentials numerous times leading into this week. However, Student Sports (operators of The Opening and Elite 11) chose not to credential the Rivals.com National Team (Mike Farrell & his motley crew).
While we are disappointed, we must respect Student Sports' decision. Credentials have been issued, though, to select Rivals.com team sites on a case-by-case basis.
As Rivals.com subscribers, you can read any content item and watch any video throughout the network - regardless of team site affiliation.
As a reminder. the majority of these athletes did participate a few weeks ago at the 3-day Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge at Soldier Field in Chicago. Our team knocked out a staggering amount of subscriber-only video and written content (and some free too). Click below to check it out.
Thanks for being a Rivals.com subscriber and for understanding what went on behind the scenes ...
