For some reason he feels he knows the guys who can do a better job of recruiting SOFL top talent. We could do a better job of keeping top talent home, but we have to show "promise" of being better, win more games and be exciting on offense. Until then it's an easy decision for top talent to go elsewhere. SEC, GA, Baga, FL,Clemson and LSU, killing us in our own back yard.

WRs Jones-Bell, Rosemy, Henderson, Robinson, Manual and Fleming all offered, a few were committed. Yes Miami didn’t recruit Poitier, Gowdy, McDougle and Emilien much and maybe a few others (to the surprise of some on here) but the WR taken who were not from SoFla were highly regarded and ranked.....both in All-Star games.

OL Dumerville, Walker, Mincey, Martinez offered but signed elsewhere. Denis....still don't know what happened there.

So what Luke really means is let me hire a guy who will take the 2nd and 3rd tier SoFla guys over some OOS or central/north Florida kids who may be more talented. Blind loyalty for SoFla that is not returned. No thanks.

The best team in UM history had a starting lineup with only half being from Florida. Coaches need to recruit kids who are talented and want to be at UM regardless of location.
