Luke Nickel

Congrats to him. I liked Nickel before, but he really proved himself this year. I am happy he is a Cane. In HS he has the 2 musts for me, accuracy and decision making. I would like to see him work on arm strength, but with his accuracy and brain, he should be good. Even without the portal, I don't believe he beats out a healthy Emory as a FR.

This kid is elite.

In my biased opinion, I wouldn't be surprised if he got to start for us in week 1 and led us to a natty.

SEC (especially) and BiG coaches have been manipulating the ranking to tilt their direction for years. We all know a Bama, Jawja or Taint committable offer gets the layer an instant bump. We also all know the fans from those schools are much more numerous and pay the scripts for the ranking sites. Normally I laugh at conspiracy theories. But in this case I believe it's systemic.

Really good job by Dawson identifying him early. Wouldn’t be surprised if he made a jump into the top 150 or higher
