Man, this guys been trying to strong-arm us into hiring every coach he chooses. And as for not sending players our way, he’s been steering them elsewhere for years. Bottom line, he can eat a bowl of d*cks.

Let me start off by saying personally I feel South Florida coaches sometimes act like pimps when it comes to these kids. Most are good but there are some bad apples. Secondly, it’s my feeling that Mario is a relentless recruiter who plays the tactics and games other very good recruiters play. For instance promising somebody playing time, certain positions, etc. The rumor has it that while Mario was at FIU he made lots of promises he did not keep and This rubs some coaches and players the wrong way. I would never say Mario is a pariah in the south Florida community, he’s very welcome but there are some naysayers out there.

There’s not a single coach that hasn’t had this charge leveled at him numerous times. Promises playing time. Promised a specific position.

Almost everybody Luke has allegedly steered has produced in College.

It's not Luke's fault that UM didn't want them or that we hired a succession of coRches.

So you believe Luke is a net positive for kids and/or for the sport of college football?
I need a list of all the players he has “steered” to college before I can make any semblance of an assessment as to their success rate.

I am not arguing that Luke has not helped some kids, and I believe he sincerely wants to help kids. But I also believe his opinion of his own relevance is inflated.

Besides Cooper, Devonta Freeman, Jarvis Brownlee, Vosean Joseph, Artie Burns, Lavonte David, Nathaniel Joseph, TY Hilton, and the countless kids that He has taken on His College tour when nobody else was doing it.

So to answer you question, yes, Luke has had a net positive for CFB.
