Last nights game was a classic UM-FSU

As has been the case in several games sometimes luck is needed when the games are so close.

Freaking Karlos Williams' touchdown was as lucky as it gets. Ball is typed towards DP and we go the other way but as freaking fate would have it landed in Karlos Williams hands as he was strinding towards his own route. CRAZY FREAKING LUCK. That gave and FSU team all the hope they would need.

Our demise came post Dobard's fumble which was earily similar to Clive's.

We had our chances and a few unlucky bounces in 2nd half which included Kaaya not hitting a wide open Coley, and a pass batted down as Yearby was wide open in the flat.

In the past some of these bounces have gone our way bigtime (mostly in the way of missed FG's) but I am sure we have gotten lucky.

So while most games are won or lost by the players and coaches this one I believe had luck on FSU side.

And their kicker made all his kicks; ours did not (and his misses equalled the point differential). In fact, our kicker missed two of the easiest kicks he will ever attempt.

Correct. Their all world kicker made a 53 yarder that further gave them momentum. They needed all his points - he misses any of those and momentum shifts

FSU had plenty of "unlucky" plays in that game too. Who gives a **** about the Karlos Williams TD--Ermon Lane had dropped a WIDE open TD right before that. We were lucky they hadn't scored already. The difference is that FSU fought through it, kept pushing, and made plays when it counted. UM didn't. That's the difference--not luck.
