Lucas Injury?

soooo what do we think the depth chart is now??? Brown/O'connor then Portis/Seatbelt?

at what time in the game, if you recall
after halftime. i remember already seeing OJ in street clothes.

going thru his plays rn and the last one is indeed the muffed-but not punt at 9:37 3Q. got the all-22. he's at jammer. gunner crosses over to the outside at the 50, Lucas pulls up around the 30 and starts to exit the field before the ball comes down. turns back once the commotion starts but never comes back into the play. he doesn't look gimpy or anything but you can definitely see something wrong. hamstring/quad/groin/core? not a doctor

If he has a torn labrum, then that’s what would have him out for a very long time for. Depends on the extent of the tear.

It’s possible it was already slightly torn, he had been playing through it and didn’t know (what happened to me; both shoulders) then one bad pull/separation leads to imaging that shows the extent of the tear. Rehabbing and playing thru it is an option but each shoulder pull/separation leads to a bigger tear and more frequent shoulder dislocations.

Shoulder injuries are very weird to deal with. Guessing he will have surgery given how Mario is talking about it being longterm.
If he has torn Labrum he's out for season

If he has torn Labrum he's out for season

AC grade 3 is months, potentially season ending. grade 1-2, weeks to months.
Biceps tendon at shoulder is months, potentially season ending as it attached to the labrum and can cause multiple issues: dislocation and complete torn bicep.
Labrum anywhere else depends on how bad it is and how lose the shoulder sits.

I still believe it is an AC based on the type of play (force to top of shoulder with arm by his side). Biceps normally happens with the forearm getting pulled on at a force that the biceps tendon can't handle. Labrum normally is when the arm is not next to the body with the impact being somewhere other than on the top of the shoulder.

D$ and AR82 didn't name him at all. Seems like he's likely out at least for tomorrow. No biggie, seems at worse it's a hammy and he'll be back hopefully before Clemson.
Doesn’t seem like Lucas is at the game. Can we assume it’s worse than a hammy?
OJ walking around without a sling. Kinda surprised on that front

Okay I’m not a doctor and have never had a major shoulder injury, am I wrong for expecting OJ to either be in a sling or bare minimum look like he’s injured? (1:49 if the timestamp doesn’t work)

Also, didn’t see Lucas and Gaby mentioned he’s not on field pregame.
