So...it seems to me that if the Ohio State* castoff was a world beater QB then he would've been named as the starter by now.

Sounds like they don't have a QB.
 
The ole" "We want to give the opponent two QBs to gameplan for!" trick doesn't work anymore in big time college football. Especially when both QBs are about the same. But that's the reason Coach O is on the hot seat as is. Because if he has named the QB and his playing this bush league trick he is an idiot or if he STILL doesn't know who his starter should be during game week when you need to get your young backfield, young WRs, and horrid OL in sync with whoever the QB is going to be he is an even bigger idiot.

They can try to "Ravens 2000" us all they want with this "our Defense will carry us to victory because its by far the best in the country" BS talk but if you venture over to their message boards and really look it reminds you of our dark days during the Golden/Shannon years. 70% of the fans know its going to be a dumpster fire but want to hold out hope seeing that its all you have at this point of the season and 30% actually think their D will singlehandedly will them to the title game and an undefeated season.
 
Coach O is on the hotseat because he isn't remotely up to the task of leading a major program.

I wouldn’t put it past Corch O to actually not be sure on the starter. Not the brightest guy. And if this is some sort of ploy to trick Richt, we’ll, Richt already called this idiots bluff this morning, saying he expects Burrow.
 
For their sake he better have already told his team who will be the starter because stuff like cadences, tendencies, timing, etc are different for every QB. If the first team has to account for 2 different quarterbacks and learn everything for both, without really focusing on one for at least the last couple weeks, they won't have that rhythm. So while yeah it makes our coaches wonder and possibly game plan for a couple quarterbacks, it will probably hurt them more not naming a QB

Just saw this on ESPN’s website about Burrow being named LSU’s starter.

“We felt that his knowledge of the game is able, his ability to run the offense, he can be a pro quarterback," said LSU coach Ed Orgeron prior to the start of camp.

Can someone please translate?
