Every time something like this comes out I just think about if this was us. God we’d have been screwed.

On another note what’s up with teams selling their soul to win a ring. Fspoo now lsu. Makes what Clemson and baga do even more impressive

The entire state of Louisiana will pay off any commissioner, prosecuter, judge, compliance officer any amount of money to insure that cash cow is safe even if they suck.
Theu sucked with Miles and they were still landing elite kids.
They could lose the rest of their games this year and I doubt any kid bounces.

my senior year, the night we won "The Game" - (Harvard-Yale) ---- we had a party on the field at the yale bowl. a bunch of us, most all the seniors, 15-18 guys and about the same number of girls. it was our last Harvard-Yale game, the last time any of us (with the exception of 2 guys) would ever play in any football game.

coach cozza knew about the party, knew we had sort of snuck in, and nothing bad happened and it didn't get out of hand.

except .....

we left a bit of a mess (bottles, cans, that sort of thing), as we didn't do a good enough job cleaning the place up when we cleared out. we ended up having him kick the crap out of us with running stadium steps, doing a community service project, and all writing letters of apology to the custodial and stadium staff who had to clean up after us. Sure, we had finished our football commitments, but we were still Yale students, and had a lot of respect for him and pride in the university and ourselves.

and this was all due to the college equivalent of not putting away our toys.

which makes me realize, these other guys .... ND, LSU, etc. just permanently and completely suck

Please understand that some of these Miami fans ABSOLUTELY are ok with the U doing this same **** if it meant a championship here.

- March 24, 2019: (According to police reports) Provens starts having *** with a woman at his apartment around 2 AM who is blackout drunk. She tells him no, he stops, then continues. Then the girl escapes, gets dressed, and leaves with her friend.
- March 27, 2019: Provens arrested on charges of third degree rape.
- March 27, 2019: The arrest and incident are reported in news articles. LSU releases a statement saying that a Title IX investigation will be carried out after completion of the law enforcement “component.”
- Provens never rejoined the team. As far as I can tell, he withdrew from school after the incident.
- Court case still pending.
- According to USA Today article, LSU confirmed that no disciplinary action was taken. The article does not mention that Provens left the team, nor does it elaborate on how LSU can discipline someone who isn’t a student or athlete.

Peter Parrish
- January 23, 2020: A woman accuses Parrish of taking advantage of her at a Tigerland bar. She reports this to Residential Life.
- February 4, 2020: Parrish is informed that a Title IX investigation has been initiated.
- February 6, 2020: Parrish is suspended indefinitely.
- March 11, 2020: Orgeron announces in a press conference that Parrish has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules.
- June 18, 2020: Parrish files a lawsuit in federal court challenging his suspension.
- July 30, 2020: Parrish’s lawsuit is dismissed.
- August 6, 2020: Parrish transfers to Memphis.
- No charges were ever filed, nor were any arrests made, though this is not mentioned in the USA Today article.

Drake Davis
- January 2017: Davis starts dating a women’s tennis player.
- May 2017: The woman says she told a (tennis) team athletic trainer, Donavon White, that Davis punched her in the stomach during an argument. (White later tells police he did not learn about the abuse until April 2018.)
- Summer 2017: The woman’s father told tennis coach Mike Sell that Davis punched his daughter. (Mike and Julia sell later told police they did not learn about the abuse until June 2018.)
- April 14, 2018: Davis tells Verge Ausberry in a text message that he got into a physical altercation with the woman, and that they had punched each other. The article does not indicate whether Ausberry reported the text message (LSU declined to answer).
- April 25, 2018: The woman tells White, senior athletic trainer Micki Collins, and senior associate A.D. Segar that Davis punched her in the ribs. Segar files a Title IX report (according to a later police report).
- May 21, 2018: The woman is interviewed by Title IX investigator Jeffrey Scott.
- June 18, 2018: Davis enters the woman’s apartment drunk, hits her, and strangles her. The police are called around 2 AM. The police separate them but make no arrests (both Davis and the woman say the argument had not turned physical).
- July 11, 2018: Davis called in for an interview with Jonathan Sanders, who runs LSU’s student judicial affairs. Mickey Joseph attends the meeting as well. They discuss the June 18 incident, and Davis says the argument did not turn physical. The woman corroborates that claim two weeks later.
- Summer 2018 (exact timing unknown): Davis banned from offseason workouts.
- August 4, 2018: Davis participates in the team’s first practice according to news reports.
- August 16, 2018: The woman shows Segar photos of bruises and scratches, as well as threatening text messages. Segar calls campus police, who arrested Davis and charged him with felony dating violence. Davis is indefinitely suspended from the team.
- September 16, 2018: Davis arrested again. He withdraws from the university the following day.
- March 2019: Davis pleads guilty to two batteries and violating a protective order.

Ray Parker
- September 9, 2020: Arrested for felony damage to property and misdemeanor battery
- September 9, 2020: Suspended indefinitely from football team
- September 10, 2020: News articles reported arrest/suspension (suspension confirmed by LSU)

Davon Godchaux
- September 26, 2016: Godchaux arrested on charges of domestic abuse battery and child endangerment after an altercation with his girlfriend, with whom he had a child. The girlfriend attempted to leave the apartment with the child during an argument, and Godchaux would not let her leave. Police noted that both Godchaux and his girlfriend had cuts/bruises, and they also issued the girlfriend a summons for domestic abuse battery and child endangerment.

There wasn’t any institutional obfuscation, these events were either handled appropriately by the University, or happened after the individuals had left the University.

This is the kind of thing only a rival troll poster would put on this site. Drink a full gallon of bleach and then set yourself on fire.

Everything you just pasted on here is well known info to us as cane fans but you decide to plaster old laundry as if you just couldn’t wait to put it on here.
