Kelly walked in with 39 scholarship players on the roster...grabbed like 15 players from the portal. That change was already happening before the first game played.

There was some serious angst with this team by the fanbase after the Auburn game and Tennessee game, but Kelly is one of the best in the game and quickly got his team right...and not like "after Nick Saban and Dabo" best in the game...he should be right up there. Kelly has won everywhere he's been, and he knew in his heart of hearts that he could beat Nick Saban with some semblance of equality in their programs. He was right. Took'em one shot with LSU to prove he could.

btw - Transfer Portal team rankings... #1 USC, #2 Ole Miss, #3 LSU. All are finding immediate success.
