It’s not even about being a “good fit.” We’ve tried the “good fit” thing and it hasn’t worked. I’d love a proven hard nosed guy who isn’t a good fit, but it’s just about Mullen being a good not great coach. He’s never gonna win a championship and I’d wager that he’s probably never gonna win his conference even after Saban leaves. You saw how this off-season went, he can’t control a team and the fact that he was playing Franks over anybody was malpractice. You can’t be a QB whisperer and not even get your own situation right lmao
