Since Patrick Peterson left LSU in 2010, they have not had that much success recruiting in FL. Sure they got some 4 star recruits over the years but none of them have really made any major impact for them. Here is a list of the players from FL since

LSU only has 2 FL left recruits on their current roster:
John Battle - 4 star safety who appear in one game last year as true freshmen.
kevin Tolliver II - 5 star freshmen CB from Trinity Christian in Jacksonville.

Travonte Valentine - 4 star DT, never played at LSU. Transferred to Western Arizona CC

LSU has been putting out some decent DL into the NFL for awhile. Booger McFarland was a short, stocky DT from there who did decently in the pros. However, I'd guess that Georgia has a better track record (and of course we would if we hadn't had incompetents running the program - that has ruined our somewhat regular pipeline of DL (especially DTs) into the NFL...)
