LSU cancels class for game

I think it’s more about the administration, professors and university staff having a free day to travel and not miss class/work. Students don’t “have” to go to class. No college professor takes attendance or cares if you choose to not attend. The game is local. They can all go to the game and be at work the following day. Smh this belongs on a university employees board, not here.

Who cares, good for them. If we canceled class for the same reason you'd be praising the university

We will make it back to the top one day. Will it be like what were did in the past? Probably not. But one day things will change an we will look back and wonder how it got so bad here.

I don't know what's funnier. Thinking we are ever gonna make it there again or if we did having an admin that would cancel class to celebrate / enjoy the game
Not only game day but the day after too. The school wasn't going to close but the board of regents overruled and gave the 2 days off.

We'd probably play without our starting QB because he had a midterm in Gender Studies, and we all know the E comes before the W -- bltch.

Stop. I am almost positive UM did this back in '01.

Also, UM routinely closes the gym for football games. Did it for Notre Dame and FSU.

You sure about that? I def don't remember that.

All's I'm saying is there are schools that care about their team and support it and then there are those that don't.

Our admin would be like "Harvard wouldn't cancel classes..."
