and if rosier isn't in there, feagles doesn't have the chance to do it

Please don't insult me and tell me I'm a LSU homer which I despise them and the SEC. I'm just pointing out that so far their season is excellent and many of you trashed the coach and the team.

They are ranked at the moment # 6 in the country. Not bad for a team that stinks, is pathetic, and are losers along with their head coach Ed O. LSU has beaten TWO TOP TEN TEAMS so far. I think you guys should take into consideration many more things than your elevated whimsical opinion of our Canes. Frankly, we are far away from being a playoff team. We are going to have a real tough time with BC and VT. Just making an observation and I hope I'm dead wrong.

Against LSU we did not look like we didn’t belong. We matched their physicality which would not have been the case a couple years ago. I really believe if we have avg punting and avg qb play we could play with most teams in the sec except bama so I don’t think we are that far off if and it’s a huge if we had just avg qb and punter play. And that’s the issue since our punter sucks and our qb is erratic that’s why it seems at times we are so far away

Poor O-line play affected both. All of Feagles's punts were nearly blocked, and Rosier was sacked 4 times, hurried 5 more, and had to tuck it just to get back to the LOS on at least a dozen more of his drop backs.

I agree with you, though. We weren't beat physically. We just missed assignments all night long. We didn't have guards being driven into Rosier. We had people running free in the backfield because we didn't know who to block. When we actually got a hat on a hat, we matched up pretty well.

I always look at shanked punts as a turnover... and good teams will make you pay with short punts as well. It's CMR's job to put together a winning squad... fvck the participation awards shiit.

What makes me cringe is that some “fans” use losing to a “good” team as some sort of blanky or binkie or whatever tf they use to cover them at night to make them feel good about the lost.

Thought the same thing until I re-watched the game and checked out the stats. One team looked coached up, the other did not. Guess who was the team that didn’t look coached up?

Yep; the one that gave away two TO’s including a blatant pick 6. The one w 11 penalties. The one w/ 3 shanked punts, and who’s LBs all filed into the same gaps at once, leaving wide open holes on the opposite side. The one that kept showing its blitz packages pre-snap and was getting audibles to oblivion. That was us.
