Guy had everything he could ever want and screwed the pooch…he’s gone at the end of the year or sooner if the L’s pile up.They can pay the 17 million without much struggle but you can bet that will try and be negotiated down with all the charges surrounding the program.

LSU has all the advantages there is and if you struggle there you’ll struggle anywhere.

Yeah they cheat like crazy and the locals basically scare the local kids into staying home (most want to anyway).

Pretty much but they have money..the new football operations building that houses the locker rooms and the football operations is crazy nice.My company did all the ceramic work in it…it’s was like 35 million or something like that.They have an individual sleeping pod in front of every locker..
 
Orgeron was a poor hire to begin with. He was on the hot seat before he lucked out in finding Brady and Burrow. People forget that.

LSU's AD fired Les Miles and replaced him with Orgeron, people were up in arms about that hire. That said, LSU is so resource rich, they won a title despite having a glorified hype man as a HC.

the rumors that he didn’t actually know what kind of offense Matt Canada ran before hiring him and was shocked when he actually saw it, were always kind of believable, but are a lot more believable now.
