Lacy drove like an *******. Obviously the gold truck doesn't slow down and veer off but for Lacy driving like an *******.

Unless am missing something there doesn't appear to be any skid marks in the lane the gold truck and Kia sedan were travelling in. That supports the what the gold truck driver said in the video the lawyer released.

Don't get why the Kia sedan went into the oncoming lane of traffic versus the shoulder. Either was tailgating and/or not paying attention.

What I've always understood since I started driving many moons ago is that if you rear-end a car that stops suddenly in front of you you're automatically at fault because it's your responsibility to maintain enough distance to be able to stop if they have to stop unexpectedly. Would imagine it the same if you don't rear end the car that stops in front of you but get into a head on collision crossing the center line.

Here, the reason the gold truck in front had to stop unexpectedly was because Lacy was driving like an ******* and breaking many traffic laws. He caused the gold truck to stop/slow unexpectedly. 100%. Did he cause the Kia sedan to cross the the center line and get in a fatal head on collision? I dunno. Glad I'm not a lawyer.

The green charger was not involved in the accident, nor did he cause the accident. His reckless driving was prior and behind the accident. Usually that means you are free to leave. Go watch the video of the cops telling witnesses to frame Lacy. That's educational and usually how this goes. Cops are trash, they sometimes start as good intentioned folks, but their training corrupts them quickly. Cops are less trained than hairdressers, and it shows.

Driving 90 mph INTO oncoming traffic going 40 mph towards you in the same lane means 200 yards is about 2 seconds. This isn't complicated. The kid was driving like a reckless idiot and caused a death.
