Being a relatively young fan (25) I’ve rarely witnessed winning Miami football but this year feels very similar to 2017 the turnover chain year. That year was the first I felt HATED, wearing gear in public always got a response from someone, and living in Georgia I always got a Georgia fan or Alabama fan throwing down the U, and it’s weird cause Alabama being on top for years never elicited that type of response the hate for us is different and just like in 2017 I embrace it all. If your a Cane you just gotta different swag about you, we like hate and embrace it. To the older Cane fans I’m jealous you got to watch the 80’s through the early 2000’s the hate started there and it’s still here but to the young fans coming up what are your experiences with being nationally relevant again cause I love this feeling and hope we keep this train rolling.

25, man enjoy it. I can tell you're a cool dude by that Hendrix picture. Just for reference, I don't like to admit it, but I saw all those glory years, and it does have a bit of a feeling like that - but that has been erroded by 20 years of seeking it. I found myself wanting to see the Canes get tested last night to see how our weaknesses would be exposed and see how they responded. Like someone said in another post, we need them to stop blowing smoke up our A$$, and like someone else said, embrace the hate.

Well for better or for worse, we got that now for sure. USF kind of showed a blueprint in the first half, then VT took it and ran.

Time for our coordinators to earn their keep big time. I believe Cal on the road was our lowest probability to win before VT, they will be picking this game film apart all week.

I’m right there with you my guy. All I know is heartache, some of my earliest memories were the final game at the OB and a loss to cal in the sun bowl. But hopefully this is the year of handling business. And a big f u to all of the lucky sob’s that got to see the glory years.
