In the days we’re in Lyle, Trader and Lofton gotta be big “cap hits” too. I don’t want to look at it that way but if this isn’t their level it’d be good for them to find it and in turn us get guys in that are
Heard all 3 are headed to UCF!

That's not far off from what I see. IMO Lyle has always looked like a mid to high 4.5 guy.

In his HS highlights, his first run is like "oh this guy might be fast". Then the rest of his highlights are like "never mind, no he's not". Same thing in college - the USF run vs every other run.

IMO Lyle is an average athlete - average size & speed + below average burst/change of direction quickness. If you look at Lyle like that - his on-field play makes total sense.

If you're looking at Lyle like he's fast & athletic - then you're searching for reasons (injuries, OL play, play calling, etc) he's been playing so bad.

So what you’re basically saying is…

Jordan Lyle = Mark Walton

I said before the the FSU game....

The way the CIS Prophets were talking that I knew Jordan Lyle was the 2nd Coming of The Messiah Mark Walton.

Both put up big numbers vs bad teams & awful numbers vs good teams.

Scary similar careers.

Pringle has improved this offense.

It's the same play calls, same QB, same amount of penalties, but he has been the X factor.

I know we haven't played tough competition with him, but the other backs were getting stopped for no gain or behind the line against inferior opponents all season. Pringle consistently gets those three tough yards the coaches preach to create 3RD and manageable, which in turn has helped Beck play some of his best ball in this last stretch of games by not trying to do too much.

It's the same play calls,

Just a side note. Was real close to the sideline and one thing that caught my eye is Pringles size. Was much smaller than the rest of the room (CWH included). Not that it matters, but it'll be interesting to see how he evolves -- I like his style.
