Great job putting a staff together so far Manny! Diaz had to put a staff together on short term notice after all the top OCs have already been hired weeks ago. Applewhite has plenty of experience calling plays at big programs! He also was the HC for a top 10 offense this season. Guys let's be realistic... We are not a top 15 program right now or really even top 20. We can not go hire the top OCs available in January. This is a good hire considering the state of the program

First time I probably like a post of yours. But I agree with all that’s been said. Manny will take his licks but this is a good thing for the program. No nonsense high energy aggressive guy.
 
Sucks that Briles was off the table but we got his boss! Think Briles will regret joining Taggert when the players are too occupied with dancing to learn his offense

Love all the hires so far (none more then the Baker hire ) but Diaz ain't done as we still need OL , RB , WR , TE ect coaches so lets see how he closes . Loving it so far.
