Love Manny or hate Manny

It is hard not to recognize and give him credit for identifying the teams needs and addressing them this offseason. This offseason especially has challenging in ways we will probably never see again. Manny was able to do the following.

Replace Enos with a successful uptempo spread guy who runs a system that relates well to the S Fl athlete.

Sign the best (arguably) available transfer qb to run this new uptempo spread

Sign the best Ot in the portal with a good deal of experience who replaces perhaps the worst tackle in college football.

Move Baxa who single handedly cost us games and sign a grad transfer who has a big leg and proven results.

Add the best defensive grad transfer on the market in Roche who combined with GR15 and Phillips creates the best DE rotation in the country.

Now we may find a way to f up the season still, but manny identified the biggest issues and absolutely crushed them.

Now if he can improve his in game coaching and the secondary improves .....we may have something this year.
We will be really good as long as we can keep our guys healthy. I'm excited for the season.

Spoken like a True politician, let's face the facts, no matter how many moves coach diaz has made, he's a 6 & 7, shenanigans headcoach right now. The moves he's been making are mostly to erase his ***** ups anyway. The secondary was the least of our problems last year, lol, why are you singleling that out, what needs to improve is our coaching philosophies and common sense coaching. The secondary had the most new starters of any unit and had to deal with injuries but still out performed probably every unit except probably our run defense, them boys in that secondary are not the problem, especially if the starters are Blades, poision, gurvan and bolden, throw in frierson or carter at that bullshat striker position, and we straight.

What coach diaz main problem is, he phucked up and sacrificed what the core principles of this football team should be about and instituted and showed his own hoe *** values trying to chase wins by acquiring and gathering losers and quitters and trying to make them the leaders of the team and giving them starter roles, and guess what, he still went 6 & 7, but his biggest lost was his credibility. The real players and coaches like rumph saw right thru that ****. And keep in mind, he truly only fired the guys he had no feeling of authority over, seems to me like diaz is trying to run a "yes men" type operation, not gone work here. When a **** naming a guy like jw15 with his weak uncommitted *** the starter or going out his way in press conferences to try and sell and justify transfer tate being on the team and getting playing, that's a **** that I have no confidence. If you hire an un-confident D-co that he has to hold his hand, WTF is that, that's not UM football, cause that type of D-co, if he nuttin up on the small stage.

And the practice of hyping up **** before it takes place needs to come to a standstill, try not to gloss over this fact:

Biggest thing is keeping the team engaged

Amazing to lose every single game coming off bye weeks or time off. That just tells me he has zero control of the pulse of the team and able to push the buttons he needs. But then again if I’m an offensive player for enos last year hard not to just get stuck going through the motions

Some real truth in here and some over the top bullshiit too.

I singled out the secondary because the story of last season might look very different with an average kicker and a secondary that doesnt give up 4th and 16 to UNC or that ridiculous fake punt hail mary were Ivey fell asleep. There were a couple tragic breakdowns in the secondary that really f'd up our season.

Where I agree with you is that the majority of the moves manny made were to correct his mistakes. The mistakes are his to own.

That said, the measure of a man is how he deals with his mistakes and if he learns from them.

Manny can't undo his mistakes, but he could make some moves and address them. I for one think he got us to the shiithole last season ended in, but he has also done a great job of positioning us to turn things around this season.

Lol...a computer analyst sucking at analyzing coaching talent.

If their is a season this year, I'm looking to see if coach diaz has wisened up, all that "we had the best practice of the season this far" and than barely beat Central Michigan, if he coach diaz wants to continue the clown/ego talk to try and make himself look like he knows something, won't be long for him here, he needs to step his **** up!

When we played Clemson for the ACC, had we had Herndon and Richards on teh field, the D would have been in a better position, remember Clemmie only scored 31 with that high powered O and that was b/c of turnovers and the O putting the D in a bad position. Richards ability to stretch the field allowed for Berrios and Herndon to make plays underneath. When Richards went out, that limited Rosier (our already limited QB) even more. WHen Herndon went down, we were done offensively.

Ridiculous take. I was there in person witnessing Clemson toy with our Defense. Had nothing to do with our Offensive struggles. Stop this narrative.

And that is why we won’t beat the big boys. Until we can play at an elite level against the Clemson’s of the world, we won’t be achieving much more than the Coastal. This Defense is statistically good but proven to be overrated whenever it plays anyone with a pulse. Losers hide behind those overrated statistics.
great point, when we play the big boys LSU, Whisky(2), Clemson we get bullied S&C is still light years behind major schools. numbers will look awesome this year Temple, UAB, & Wagner..... still look at schedule and trying hard to find a Coach who is worse than CMD.... Defensive staff is not much patke, Baker and scheme is gimmicky

Bruh, let me let you in on something, that 4th and 17 wasn't on the secondary, that was purely on whoever made the defensive call be it diaz/baker. The **** calls for a blitz that he used prior which is why Unc was ready for it to a freshman qb's weakside, instead of bringing the blitz to that young qb's strong side so he can see it and possibly force him to speed up his throw or force him to have go to his left and throwback right. He's calls for a blitz and than runs zone behind it instead of playing quarters, it was 4th and 17 for crying out loud. Anybody that knows football, if you playing zone, holes are all over the place, if the throw is not rushed, all the qb has to do is throw it to a spot.

Next, that G-tech game, come on man, do you really believe that was poisons fault, G-tech called that play because that's the coverage our special teams units had been doing on short fields prior to that game as well as in that game, when have you ever seen a punter throw a bomb or anybody throw a bomb for a touchdown, the coaching staff just got outcoached. They know they were expecting something possibly short like in the gaytor game some they had poison play short cause they wasn't expecting that punter to raise up and toss it like that. To make matters worst, diaz said something like, "we went over that coverage about 30mins prior to that play happening" ask yourself a question, what football coach talks like that, and common sense, why as the headcoach he didn't reiterate it in real time instead of spectating and than throwing poison under bus, that's cowardtry.

Coach diaz and patke special teams were **** poor early in the year, they got solid as the year went on, but nobody should be falling for Manny's bullshat. If he was real, he would've simply said, we got to coach that better, not that "we went over that 30mins ago" bullshat. They had poison stuck in "No-Mans" land
Lol...a computer analyst sucking at analyzing coaching talent.

Let's be real, this **** coach diaz is ego tripping and PR chasing. When the opportunity to bring Zo home came up and him and flake james conspired not to bring him in, that showed the True weakness of diaz, that **** is conniving! He doesn't want real help, he only wants primarily sole credit if this team starts consistently being dominant again.

And quiet as kept, coach richt knew coach diaz and flake james we're conspiring to have diaz be the future headcoach at UM so coach richt basically told flake james to ***** off.

I was there too, two rows up from the field...anyone who knows anything about football knows that if the offense is not on the field the defense gets ripped...had we had our 2 best players on O, it would have made a difference

Amazing how they don't remember this. A ****** QB in Kelly Bryant, who eventually lost his job to a true freshman, absolutely torched our defense. Completed something like 15 straight passes. A full on clinic for getting out coached in all 3 phases.

If you think those players would have made a difference then you need to do more homework on the game.

The fact he's completely backed off the social media schtick makes me hope he's learned his lesson.

Only time will tell.

Doesn't matter. Even good teams, which we were not, are in close games. But fragile teams with a bad culture, which we were, get destroyed by losing those kinds of Heartbreakers.

In my opinion, when you have a serious culture problem, losses just don't effect teams the way they should. They aren't heartbreaking, and that's the problem.

He needs to focus on what it takes to have True team integrity and True headcoach credibility within his own team, than he can focus on winning games. You could tell coach diaz reacting and making moves based on social media. He can only hide for so long. Now if coach norvell holds a coaching clinic somewhere this year and coach diaz and shows up like he did Willie and holla's out BLM and has signs and blow whistles, he'll earn a lil credibility back!
