I was going to mention the Dolphin fans point you made. It is amazing how people see somebody who "sounds" good on TV and they're willing to turn the keys of the franchise over to him. Funny enough you mentioned Mayock. He faceplanted in Vegas pretty hard for the Raiders. Riddick should watch his example.

It's much easier (and lucrative in the long run) to be the know-it-all on TV than to actually do the real job.

I didn’t like Mayock when he did the ND games. One of those guys that talks all confidently so it makes it seem like they know what they’re talking about.

Riddick was also very irritating last year during the ND/Georgia Tech game last year. The broadcast kept going on about “did ND do enough” even though ND had one loss. Just following the company line IMO.

Miami hater. He has not shut up about Miami needing to win by 10,000 bazillion points or else it will be our ultimate doom. Not just saying in once or twice, but all game, every chance he gets. VT got a bad call on the inverted whistle that took away a first down and 14 yard completion. Yes, it was not a god call. But Riddick whined for VT for about 15 minutes as if they got robbed of the game down 17 with the ball around midfield. I wonder what he was saying when we played SMU and IDK, there were 3-4 atrocious calls against us, each one being an actual game changing call that absolutely impacted the game.

I know you have an $EC vibrating butt plug with a shamrock diamond for Notre Dame in tight and it’s tickling just right, but you’re an E$ECPN Miami hater who thinks Notre Dame’s 15 point win over 1-10 BC three weeks ago apparently doesn’t matter. The network that controls the playoff sends their stooges out weekly to create said narrative about their playoff. Compared to Galloway..Riddick is a saint….Galloway is not hiding the fact that we absolutely should not be in unless like 4 teams lose. He hates us.

I actually think Riddick is trying to embed in our brains that getting in means we have to dominate our opponents. You can actually look at it as him rooting for us to get in.

I actually think he’s a pretty good analyst. He’s a pit guy so he’s probably pulling for ACC/Miami.
He was stating the obvious we all know what we needed to do, but Miami didn’t do it

You honestly expect him to refuse that just to "take a stand" for Miami on an issue that will remain the same regardless of if he does it or not? Yep. Riddick knew his assignment and followed the script. I doubt anyone but Mark Jones and maybe Fowler veer from what ESPN wants them to talk about, or what narrative the worldwide leader in propoganda wants stated.
