For an entire game....No DOUBT UM vs ND 1989....Could not hear yourself think for 3 hrs....Even Louder than ND last yr......
As for Moment.....No Question Carlos Jones Pick6 vs FSU in 94.....I was sitting in West EZ...and when he 1st picked it Off the OB went crazy....BUT....The second he crossed the GL.....It was like a BOMB went off....1st time I ever heard a Sonic Boom at a CFB game.....

For a single moment, I have to go 2003 against Florida in the OB. I was in the upper deck with my uncle and cousins. When Hester returned the opening kickoff back to the crib, I couldn't hear my family right next to me.

Loudest game that I was inside the stadium for? Last season vs Virginia Tech was up there. And the 02 game vs Virginia Tech that clinched the Fiesta Bowl berth was loud too

I was born in 1988 so did not get to experience the first Notre Dame game but for me it was either the game in 2005 in Clemson where Miami won in 3 overtimes (know it’s not a home game but that place was rocking) or Notre Dame last year. Even the highlights are loud.

Loudest moment was in the same Notre Dame game on bandys pick six. I couldn’t hear the person 3 inches from me Plus just to put the dagger in them right before half in a sellout pro stadium and that rivalry was unbelievable.

Side note Georgia tech last year was an amazing experience. Was not so much how loud it was but when it started to rain it felt like a sleeping giant woke up. The atmosphere and game situation was unbelievable and the game came down to the last drive and a tipped ball that was caught. If we end up winning a natty in the Richt era think this is the game that woke Miami back up.

I was at last yrs ND game...and of course, 1989's.....Last yrs game was Loud AF......
But 89's ND game was SICKENING Loud....and not even a Break....I'm talking from beginning to end....and remember....this was the Payback game from the yr before (88)...adding MORE insanity.....anybody who was there will tell ya the Madness at the Ole Girl that game...

94 vs fsu....carlos Jones pick 6 I was 12
02 vs fsu ...down 13 then the wide left
03 vs florida...no explanation needed
04 vs fsu....4th quarter comeback. Gore OT
04 vs louisville...hester punt return for lead
17 vs Notre dame...loudest in over a decade
That Carlos Jones play....Whewwwwww...
I thought the OB was gonna crumble

Most important play in UM history on many levels was the two point pass breakup in the final moments of the Nebraska first national championship game preserving the victory. That would be my choice for the loudest moment. The loudest game start to finish would be 89 ND.

Hester return vs Florida bc he called it before the game began and everyone was watching and boom he did it.
As far as game I will t]say the game vs FSU and Dorsey to Shockley comeback.

Close but not exactly. Hester said he was going to/wanted to take back his first kick at Miami. That didn't happen, the first game having been at La Tech. But he definitely returned his first kickoff at home. And that was one of the loudest moments I recall.

The other, that people don't really seem to mention, was Wide Left 1. That was a noon game and the hottest game I remember going to, but when that kick was missed I thought the OB was coming down. That whole game was complete insanity.

Been to plenty of OB games and I’m not sure any stadium can compete with that because of how she was built. Last years ND game though was the absolute loudest I’ve ever heard in that stadium. Bandy Pick 6 happened as we were walking back up to LIV with the recruits and everyone just looked at at each other like Holy sh#t!!! You could feel the concrete in the stairwell vibrating from the noise. Absolutely amazing

I was at the 83 championship game and that game was excited but not as loud (due to the Cornhusker fans) as the UM vs ND in 89. That was sonic loud, I couldn't hear for days after the game.

The McGahee screen pass still resonates with me, I felt that thru my tv screen. People lost it.

Hester’s opening game return vs Florida...craziness. I’ve never rewinded anything more times in my lifetime than that return. Pure artistry and a joy to watch.

Loudest moment in a game I attended was the ‘04 Gore OT run to seal the comeback win against FSU.

Was there. That game had an electricity that I haven’t felt at any game since. The whole city was buzzing. I don’t think I sat down the entire game. Very loud. Very emotional. It was the culmination of the long climb up.
