I haven’t read it. From what I see - He’s not telling you to use a gun on yourself. He’s saying he prefers that against himself to whatever alternative is being suggested - in this case talking to you about whatever it is being argued about.

I know it makes it even worse that he rather shoot himself and have a conversation I truly feel the shows a mental illness and he might need help before he hurts himself
