Although some areas improved from week 1 to week 2, other such as special teams and penalties continue to be problems and the defense got worse especially in the secondary.

After 2 weeks of preparation, I expected a better product on the field. This is entirely on the coaching staff. The game shouldn't come down to a field goal. There were so many opportunities to take control of this game despite the poor 1st quarter.

The defensive scheme played on 4th and 17 is a fireable offense. How you are not playing cover 3 is beyond comprehension. All they needed to do was put the corners 10 yards off the ball and the safeties at 15. Force UNC to make a short competition or throw into double or triple coverage.
NOPE. The looked like they were in some kind of man coverage where the corner was beat and the safety wasn't even in the picture until after the ball was caught. Players make mistakes. It's the coaches fault for putting them in a defensive scheme on 4th and 17 that would give UNC it's best opportunity to succeed. Atrocious!!!!
