not saying it’s a good thing we don’t have him at all, he’s our best weapon but…..

Has anyone seen or have tape on our offense without him this year with Mensah and all of our other healthy weapons?

The offense goes through Mali, that’s what Notre Dame has been preparing for. This also changes their game plan a ton. No one really knows the new distributions are, sets, what to look out for with their best corner focusing on our number 2 wideout now. I just hope we don’t go into 70% run mode, we have the horses still to keep doing what we do.

Did you watch ND play Navy? Those 230 pound linemen and 185 pound RBs (future admirals) pushed their ship* in............for one half............

*There is a better word but the porsting rules limit my choices......................

Also it’s all over social media that “we’re not going to move the ball without Mali”. They literally think this entire offense is him like we weren’t dropping 50 on people with Cam and X 2 years ago.

Mind boggling takes and I hope ND soaks it all up.

So they watched the second half of Wake?
Did they watch the Clemson game?? How about the Florida game last year with Carson??

FYI he’s missed multiple drives every game all year. He’s been hurt since that game.

You bringing in the OL and defense from the 2025 UF game? You think Clemson and ND are comparable?

You love to play the contrarian bro lol never change bud lol
Am I wrong? The second half of Wake without Mali was inept. I was there. And our defense has been atrocious.

But I’m being contrarian pointing out that that is probably what people that don’t follow the team every game see.

Or they see every game and how Mali extends drives for us at a solid clip.

I'm not coming after you bro. Let me rephrase, maybe not a contrarian in this scenario but pragmatist? haha

Everyone keeps bringing this up. Yes they struggled, but does wake get no respect for making that happen? Or is everything just whether miami wants to or not? It was in game with no preparation. That was a different offensive line with less experience. Also lost our #3wr #2rb and fletcher was dealing with something. Also seemed like mensah was dealing with something too. You act like we've never seen two teams play each multiple times in a season and the games be totally different. Preparation is different.

All good. Probably just a pain in the ***. Lol. Overall I think people are bringing up concerns for fair reasons. Even if the media is looking at limited clips, There are clips of the offense disappearing without Mali, as well as the Defense collapsing, so I think that is what they'll talk about,

And we can't have the best player in college football and expect the media to be like --- no problemo, they will be fine.

Mali is that guy. Can we win games without him, yes. But ND is not a pushover and we just squeaked by FSU and UNC recently.
