That sounds like us, but I think you're underestimating the entitlement of other bases as well.

TBH, it's what makes CFB better than the NFL.

Banners satisfy only the egos of those who fly them. It flat outs hurt recruiting which is the life blood of any college football program. No one likes how the year turned out but does a banner make next year better? Absolutely and 100% NOT. But posters on this site aren't real fans. They post here to feed their egos and not do what is best for the team. This is what make being a Hurricane fan so challenging. You have so called fans that will hurt the team to so called support the program. It is what it is. I have come to accept the stupidity while hating the stupidity.

Also, FYI, I have a bachelors and doctorate from two ivies and I donated $100 for the banner. Has nothing to do with education level. Has all to do with calling out Richt's BS in an historically bizarre and depressing year for this proud program.

I think it is a selling point for elite recruits. This is a pro sports town, even for the U. Fans hold everyone account. It’s like the NFL. Really is NFLU.

Who cares about the banners it's not going to force changes that we want.they flew them against butch and foldem but it did nothing as far changes are concerned.also at the educated fella just because a person didn't go to college doesn't necessarily mean they are uneducated trash.I know some college educated people who couldn't find their way outside a building when it was on fire .guy asked how do we get out I said see the arrows on the wall saying in case of fire exit this way.I should told him cover yourself with your coat and run through the fire to the front door.

How does losing five games while being in one of the easiest power 5 divisions help get better recruits? Please tell me that. Stop blaming banners for Richt being an overrated coach. From what I've seen recruits started jumping ship before this game was even played. No banners were being flown then so why were they jumping ship?

Why do you think a banner would sway a kid? A kid who doesn’t want to come here has enough reasons already by CMR. Only a blind homer would think otherwise

Speak about uneducated trash one 4th of July a friend of mine who had just graduated from college finished shooting off some fireworks .when they got finished they looked for something to set off.this graduated grabbed a bag of gun powder poured about a pound of it in a pile on the ground and lit it.it blew up in his face.he was ok but he looked like the people in the conehead movie after conehead set off the fireworks for the football game.this happened back in the late 80s.
