Disagree, win Conference Championship Game automatic bid to Playoffs.

I meant it from it being a true gauge of the best 2 teams in the conference. For example, if GT goes undefeated (conference schedule is weak) and so do FSU and Miami. The looser of the game misses the conference championship. But how can you prove the GT was better than the looser? When teams are not playing the same teams and these conferences get so big, it gets harder to use W/L in conference to justify the conference championship game.

Obviously, winning it matters to get to the playoffs. But there is a scenario where looser of the FSU/Miami is 11-1 and doesn’t make the ACCCG. But they are likely playoff bound. So what value does the Confrence Championship hold then? All I’m saying

The implications of the result next Saturday rivals the days of old….when the winner of this game typically went on to play for a national championship.

Georgia Tech is going to lose at least 1 conference game.

It's really hard to go undefeated in conference play especially in the ACC where teams beat each other up.

Now if we lose to the Noles, we definitely have to win out to avoid a scenario like last season and getting left out of the championship game

Mark Fletcher is now 2nd in the ACC in rushing yards per game against FBS opponents.

Averaging over 100 a clip. Only Hollywood Smothers is better, and honestly with how elite that name is, I'll allow it.

And this will likely drop once Lyle is back, but Fletcher is on pace for 1,164 yards just in the regular season, which would be the most since Duke Johnson in 2014.

Alabama's leading rusher right now is Kevin Riley, who has 23 carries for 120 yards on the season.

They've played 3 games, and they have one kid on the entire roster who has over 100 yards rushing.

They only have 2 kids who have more than 50 yards rushing. Fletcher currently has 388 and Brown has 206.

Mark Fletcher has more rushing yards than Alabama's entire team.

GT has a sneaky good squad... But that Clemson win by last second FG at home is looking worse and worse. They aren't going undefeated imo.

FSU and gt success is going to hinge on if their starting qbs can stay healthy in a run heavy offense.

We go through this every single year.
Most ACC teams are going to lose games no one expects them to.
This whole looking at the schedule thing is fun in theory but seems pretty useless in the grand scheme of things.

If FSU is the ACC championship game but we aren’t, it proves Cristobal isn’t the coach who is going to accomplish anything at UM. FSU won TWO games last year, and if they can fix their team in one offseason and make to the ACC championship while UM is again sitting at home, Marios seat should be red hot. Even if we make the playoffs it is still inexcusable to miss the ACC championship game.

Way too early to do all this but 11-1 Miami with wins over ND, UiF, SMU, Louisville, Pitt, Syracuse, and USF and only 1 loss to FSU on the road who goes to the ACCCG is 100.0% in the playoffs.

I don’t disagree, but I ALSO want a shot to finally win this dog **** conference.
