I meant it from it being a true gauge of the best 2 teams in the conference. For example, if GT goes undefeated (conference schedule is weak) and so do FSU and Miami. The looser of the game misses the conference championship. But how can you prove the GT was better than the looser? When teams are not playing the same teams and these conferences get so big, it gets harder to use W/L in conference to justify the conference championship game.Disagree, win Conference Championship Game automatic bid to Playoffs.
Obviously, winning it matters to get to the playoffs. But there is a scenario where looser of the FSU/Miami is 11-1 and doesn’t make the ACCCG. But they are likely playoff bound. So what value does the Confrence Championship hold then? All I’m saying
