Lorenzo Lingard talks OV, ready to enroll early

This RB/FB group will fill a gap we've had rushing the ball for well over a decade. No more worrying about short yardage situations.

I'm not going to lie, I still haven't seen any clips of Lo?Who does he compare to? Running style?

Darren McFadden

Thanks man... McFadden was one bad dude during his Arkansas days

I was stationed in Little Rock back then. He was in a backfield with Felix Jones and Peyton Hillis and was the number one back. NFL career never lived up to expectations but he was a stud in Fayetteville, so the comparison is mighty high praise.

Tweed, you got any thoughts on Lo transitioning into getting the handoff out of the shotgun in the ROO’s? Looks like he took all his handoffs in those highlights from a QB under center while being a few yards in the backfield. Also I honestly don’t know who to compare his style to cause I have never seen a RB ride out like Lo does in the open field.

I got such a hard on for this guy watching video of him running the hurdles last year. Dude looked massive out there on the track and was just spanking everybody.

Lorenzo Lingard will win the Heisman. My only question is will he win it twice. Idk why but I’ve always gotten the vibe that this young man is as special as there is. So special he does something we haven’t seen in a long long long time. I won’t be surprised if he wins two of them.

Holy **** at people asking if he'll be able to make the transition on taking handoffs from the gun vs under center. We've reached full ****** levels.

I’ve never been a big fan of comparisons. Does anyone remotely run like Eric ****erson? Or Frank Gore? Or Clinton Portis? And on and on. To me there are always enough differences that I can’t think of 2 running backs that I’d confuse for one another. Gayle Sayers? Eric Allen? Barry Sanders? All distinctive.

Lo will have his own style that will be his alone. As will Cam and Realus. As does Travis Homer.

Actually Homer reminds me a bit of Portis. And Lingard a bit of Gurley. Obviously they aren't mirror images, but there are similarities in style.

Funny you mention that. He excels in burst and geting to second level. When he has space he looks like a track athlete. Right now he has great vision, balance, top level speed and burst. He needs some coaching it appears on pad level and body lean as he runs behind the ball like a track star.
