Word on the street is that if Mario falls through then Diaz will be retained. There will be no "Plan B" or "C, D or E" for that matter.

Take for above for what it's worth which is probably nothing considering the bull**** that's been spewed all over the interwebs.

Besides, there is no way that things would be handled in as such a manner. Not even possible. Why? Well, for starters it would literally be the stupidest move ever made in the business of college football and would make the UM administration look like the most incompetent, amateurish and utterly clueless buffoons in the entire history of the sport. I mean nobody is that stupid..............................................................................................................................................right??

Yeah, sorry another thread, but the sh*tshow at Miami that got us here is worthy of a targeted discussion.

From Mario's perspective: OK, we (agent, fam, etc) like it and we can sign Monday, and announced after i tell team (Mon/Tues?), presser on Wed. Cool, ok? From Cribby and other stuff, this seems pretty clear, as well as Knight n "O" getting ****ed Mario doesn't accept extension.

So Miami brass knows he's coming, per the plan/deal, and need to keep their lips tight.

But no... they gotta tell this and that blabbermouth, so all over there is "reliable source says its a done deal". Mario must be fuming, rightly so, wondering if the Miami brass is a bunch o' idiots. Let's hope it doesn't cause him to renege!!!

The Miami "brass" hasn't said or even leaked a word. **** most of the reports are coming from Oregon sources

Indeed it is. But that’s why you hire the search companies that specialize in AD/HC. Obviously they chose the wrong company to lead the search, based on the missteps. But, I know that they received good advice regarding the AD selection from the company they didn’t chose. Sometimes it works that way. These guys are always looking for future business

Every slap-nuts fan with a Twitter handle fancying themselves a news-breaking reporter, with "sources" and a desire to be FIRST instead of RIGHT is the issue.

In the past, it'd have been a quiet weekend—folks on message boards musing about future.

Instead, from the Pac-12 title game on Friday night to Monday morning, as news being made official—every moron on social media had to weigh in with their hot takes, and news.

Not to mention the leaks coming out of the Pacific Northwest as Oregon faithful wanted to blow up story, cause chaos, make Miami look bad, etc.

Again, social media is the devil and any idiot with a pulse now thinks they're Deep Throat.

Yeah, I'm sure Cribby, who apparently had word that Mario had agreed and it was a timing and logistical issue, has great Oregon contacts? Everyone believed Cribby too, and why shouldn't they. Because surely one of the Miam i brass or someone who talks to the Miami brass was told "its a done deal, but dont talk abt it"... and so Cribby (and many others) had their "source". a Miami blabbermouth source, NOT an Oregon source.

Right? or should i say Richt?

And Mario had to be rethinking what trash show he's coming to work for that had to blab. I stand by my analysis, here's an article:
