Looks like SJ is starting at guard

It's really dumbfounding that he can't get snaps down after having all offseason to work on it. It's such a short distance. My 6 year old can snap me a football in the front yard, **** near perfect every time. I could see struggling on long snaps, but come on SJ you would be a dominant center. The good news is we should be able to empty the bench some this year and hopefully get him some reps there

If he spent 4–5 hours on an off day just nonstop snapping the football, he’d probably get pretty good at it. I’m not trying to be mean, but is snapping really that difficult if you spend a couple hours learning? Or is he having trouble adjusting to blocking post-snap?
If he does not have the natural wrist snap-no amount of practice can fix that

Your 6 year old block someone 30 pounds heavier than her a fraction of a second after snapping the ball?

I was looking forward to seeing two 6'8 guards with our 6'6 tackles. Obviously it isn't set in stone since these first 4 games will be a good time to gel together.

I mean if SJ were an adequate snapper atm, the plan was been to start Ryan Rodriguez for a longtime now. So it’s kinda irrelevant and he has a whole other offseason to get it right if necessary
Not sure why people keep overlooking this detail.

Pardon me for my ignorance but...
How hard is it to learn how to snap?
Doesn't seem like rocket science...

Don't sleep on Cantwell slowly taking over the RT spot and pushing McCoy inside
I believe this could be the plan. When he gets tackle reps will let you know. If he plays even one snap at tackle against Clemson then he will have a chance to be the starter at RT going into the playoffs

Tough to play guard at 6'8. Low man wins in the interior. Ideal height for guards and centers is probably 6'3 or 6'4. Obviously there are exceptions - guys like Congdon, who despite height, can still pay low.

Speaking from experience, it's hard to snap a football when your **** is huge and gets in the way.

Maybe he's having the same issue... idk. Just spit balling.
Your doing it wrong, need to set up in a slightly offset tripod stance. This will give a solid base to free up both hands and use all your core strength for snapping and striking. Speaking from experience of coarse
