Looks like EsecPN missing the bus..

Two hours on Wednesday, two hours on Friday. That's a joke compared to what they do in February, and now most of the February drama will be gone.
 
We have never had much success on late surprises, so I love this new early signing. Howard and Coley are about the only two big one I can remember of late. I think this will hurt the coaches who have relied on the big close the most. With much of the herd in the barn already, the focus on the remaining few will be more intense and some coaches not normally able to snatch a big one on signing day might only have one ship left and can pay a lot more attention to one specific players and deny people like Jimbo or Saban one star player. There is a reason Saban is against it.

Most likely this is due to there not being many guys announcing today, only already committed players signing. Makes for a better Twitter feed than is does TV. It's the first year of the early signing day. If there are big surprises today, maybe they bump up the coverage next year. Their whole NSD coverage has always been based on live announcements though.

I think they didn't make a spectical of this because there are many decisions being made. That means there is less intrigue and less veiewer ship. If you aren't a fan of the schools with the top 5 classes no point in watching their infomercial.

‘Bama doesn’t have the top recruiting class, and neither does any of the other EsecPN schools.

You can bet your *** that if any of the above weren’t true, they would be all over it.
 
They have coverage on the SEC Network since 11am. They will have to change their coverage going forward because today is going to be bigger than February signing day. 80% of kids are signing early and that trend probably goes up next year. The only thing saving the February coverage is the last few kids announcing on that day are always elite.
