Looks like Blake James spoke with a few press members today

Well, according to one of the new (could be real/could be fake) insiders on this site, James's fate has already been decided but the BOT is allowing him the dignity to find a new job instead of being outright fired. I don't think he deserves that act of mercy, but hopefully it is true.
That’s how they handled Blake baker… let him find another job rather than firing.

For one, I agree with the criticism of Blake and he needs to go. For once he gets a championship caliber coach and he can't seem to support him. I think bringing in a new AD and giving Manny more control over the athletic budget would do wonders for the team.

Good Lord, you’ve reached the ultimate level in trolling.

Just a little advice which you don’t need or want from me, make it a little more believable the next time.

This is so preposterous no one actually believes it.

I think you could reasonably say UM is far, far closer to an 0-6 team than a 4-2 team. If UM had played a P5 instead of the Central Connecticut State School for the Blind you could basically guarantee a loss as we are winless against every P5 starting with UNC last year. Our only FBS victory in the last was against a mid tier G5 at Hard Rock, due to a last second FG by a true freshman kicker. Yes, that is correct - Miamis is 1-7 in its last 8 games against FBS schools.

Even though the Hurricanes have played hard in the last two weeks, James said his ultimate evaluation will consider everything -- including wins and losses.

"There's a lot of things that go into evaluating, where are we with the team, the development, the growth, what are we seeing from the young people in the program, what are we doing in recruiting?" James said. "There's a laundry list of things that's part of the evaluation. Winning's right at the top. And that's something that's always going to be something that we have to evaluate in our programs here at the University of Miami and right now, we're not winning enough."

James also reaffirmed the commitment the university has to the athletic department.

"We're committed to winning as an institution," he said. "So whatever that means it's going to take, I have full confidence that's the step our institution is going to take. Whether that's from a financial decision on coaching salaries to financial decisions on what we need to do [to] operate as a program again, the institution is very committed to seeing this athletics program succeed at the highest level, and they're committed to doing what it takes to compete with the very best."

Bye Bye Blake

he said they’re committed to doing what it takes, not we’re committed. Bye Fake
