Narduzzi's agent working hard on a holiday to get his man paid
Silly szn starting even earlier this year. Usually this stuff starts in December doesn’t it?

I don't see Campbell at either job; his family really likes Ames and the small town environment. I see him as a Big 10 guy, eventually.

No.Didn't Mario just sign an extension recently? Doesn't mean they are staying put just that negotiating terms change.
The difference is Saban was getting his **** pushed in in the NFL and wanted no part of that.Didn't Satan say the exact same thing when he was the Miami Dolphins Coach!?
Ok. But the point I am making is an extension whether predetermined by hitting bench marks or negotiated afterwards doesn't mean much except it drives up price of negotiations if a coach still decides to leave.No.
He triggered an automatic 1 year extension of his contract by winning a certain amount of games (I assume 8).
I think Zach Thomas was ready to physically harm him, so that might have partly influenced the flow...The difference is Saban was getting his **** pushed in in the NFL and wanted no part of that.

They also keep putting clauses in the contracts, that if the coaches wants to leave to go to a new school the coach doesn’t have to give back any of the money & the school is still on the hook for 80% of the contract. Why are schools doing 10 years fully guaranteed contracts for coaches who havent even won championships..
They better strike while the iron is hot & get Napier...Unless LSU grabs an A list Coach, hard for me to see them missing on both Aranda and Napier.
He signed a contract extension through 2025 in December 2020. It automatically extended a year this season when they hit 9 wins.No.

A LOT of coaches are going to hold out for that job. Decent chance Sark pulls a Taggart and they pull the plug next yearI think Aranda has his eye on that texas job.
The agents are abusing the ADs, it's embarrassingThey also keep putting clauses in the contracts, that if the coaches wants to leave to go to a new school the coach doesn’t have to give back any of the money & the school is still on the hook for 80% of the contract.
That’s the same deal that Jumbo Fisher, James Franklin & Mel Tucker have all signed, it’s the most coach friendly contracts ever. Sh*t crazy lol
Could totally see the LSU search turning into the Tennessee search the year they would up with Jeremy Pruitt. Napier seems all but set on UF don't see Stoops or BOB as good fits there. Dana in the SEC would be high comedyThey better strike while the iron is hot & get Napier...
Wasting all that time trying to get Lincoln Riley is gonna leave them S.O.L, he’s not leaving Oklahoma & will only leverage them for a new contract. They get Napier for much cheaper than it would cost to get Riley anyway & he’s already well established in Louisiana.
The problem is they have super high expectations & want a homerun big name coach that can compete on the recruiting trail with UGA & Bama, so they keep aiming for big targets like Jumbo, Riley, Franklin etc & they’ve all pretty much told them thanks but no thanks.
If they don’t make a move fast they gonna be stuck with Dana Holgorsen or some sh*t lol
It’s the most ****ed up market that exists in business. These guys are getting paid more than some of the best CEOs in the country. Private donations subsidize the absurd contracts and illegal payments to players drive success. They also keep putting clauses in the contracts, that if the coaches wants to leave to go to a new school the coach doesn’t have to give back any of the money & the school is still on the hook for 80% of the contract.
