Looks like Aranda is staying at Baylor

College football should learn from college basketball. It is not easy to get the coaches you want because they use real or supposed interest to leverage new deals at their existing schools. See MSU, PSU, and Baylor as examples just in the last few days, And, apparently, 10 years has become the new contract duration. That was unheard of even a month ago.

every single coaching candidate gonna sign an extension until there’s no candidates left and every college has to hire some high school coach
Honestly it's not looking bad for us. We're still in play for mario and lane so all the other schools like UF will have to settle for G5 coaches.

Tucker, Fickell, Franklin, and Aranda all signed extensions. Don’t think any of them would leave unless Bama or Ohio State opens up.

Yeah, I'm not all in on him. I meant more in general but just used Mario as an example. The smaller the pool of candidates, the higher the price tags will be.
Plenty of candidates out there including coordinators like Marcus Freeman, Venables, etc.
