If they were going to be fired, they’d have already been fired.

Today was the last possible day that you could have any real hope of offensive assistants being fired. Since it was the first business day since Lashlee’s hiring. At this point, it’s obvious that either Lashlee isn’t firing anybody, or Manny never gave Lashlee any power over his position coaches in the first place.

Is there a rule that says you can't fire them after today?

When is the coaches convention? Aren’t there usually coaching moves during or right afterwards?
 
The defense is trash. Get a new dc and get rid of Banda or rumph. Tired of rumoph and his missing out on big time guys down here. Banda sucks to and baker is a joke.
 
It's a little gimmicky but the defense has been fine considering historically bad offenses (and punting) in 2018 and 2019.
12th in totes defense and 12th in YPP in 2019.

UVA: 9 points
Pitt: 12 points
FSU: 10 points
LT: 14 points
CMU: 12 points

Played well enough to win against UF, UNC, GT.
Set up to fail against VT, FIU, Duke, LT.

All I know is that these boys on D better get in the absolute best shape of their entire life this season. I think Lashlee will obv be a good addition but with tempo naturally comes some fast 3 & outs. They won’t have the luxury of being able to sit down for a 22 course meal while enos’s dinosaur offense runs the play clock to 1 & gets 14 false starts every drive.
