How does it make me retarded than I am being realistic. It is a fact that Golden WILL NOT be fired this year. The only way that could change is if another school takes Golden away from us, which is unlikely. Donofrio and other assistant changes are the only things that could actually happen between now and next year. So how exactly does that me me retarded?
The issue is that Golden scapegoating a few assistants to save his own *** accomplishes nothing and delays the inevitable. No position coach or coordinator worth s*** is going to want to come here for one year to be micromanaged by a lame duck coach who's universally despised by the entire fan base. If you think this defense and special teams are going anywhere while Golden's around after four years of this s***, then you're nuts.
Anyone who would rejoice at the sight of D'Onofrio, Franklin, and Williams being fired while Golden stays should have to slap themselves in the face repeatedly.
Did you even write what I wrote? Did I at any point say I want Golden to stay, and only Donofrio and some assistants to be fired? No, I didn't. I was hoping Golden was going to PSU last year.
Just because I know Golden will be our coach next year doesn't mean I'm a "Golden Slurper" or whatever you guys call them; It just means i'm not stupid. Plus, I also know the chances Butch coaches here are extremely small. Much better chance Kiffin or Cristobal get the job.
